The CASE Act of 2025 aims to reduce the costs of new courthouse constructions by enforcing guidelines for courtroom sharing and maximizing use of existing spaces. It mandates courtroom sharing for different types of judges: 2 courtrooms for 3 active district judges, 1 for 2 bankruptcy judges, etc. It also requires full utilization of existing space before adding new complex capacity.
