How we calculate the "Score" for each bill we're tracking:
Bill Score =
total votes matching what voters want
total votes cast by the Representative on bills we are tracking
Where we get our data: open.pluralpolicy.com, a community project that pulls legislative data from the Federal and State House and Senate websites.
Official data: We track and report the votes reported by the legislature. Displayed votes are the most recent data available from the House and Senate websites through Open States.
Changed votes: Legislators are entitled to change their votes after bills pass or fail. Those changes may or may not be published by the state.
No votes: A gray circle indicates that the legislator did not vote on the latest motion for that bill. They may have been absent or otherwise unable to vote.

Florida
2024
The bill authorizes advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) and physician assistants (PAs) to order healthcare services and write prescriptions for home health services to Medicaid recipients. Such services must be legal and medically necessary. They include nursing, home health aide services, and necessary equipment, but do not cover individuals in a hospital or nursing facility. The provisions mandate that the ordering healthcare provider must not be affiliated with the home health agency, except when retirement communities own certain health facilities. Additionally, the provider must have examined the recipient within 30 days prior to requesting services and biannually thereafter, with prescriptions detailing the medical condition and required services. The provider's credentials must also be listed on the prescription and related claims.
