Immigration officers doing public enforcement must wear clear IDs showing their agency and last name or badge number, readable from a distance. Masks that hide faces or IDs are banned, except for undercover work or hazardous conditions. Police may not wear face coverings on duty, with exceptions for active undercover work, SWAT gear, or emergencies. Complaints will be investigated, violations tracked and reported yearly, and repeat violators face criminal penalties. Undercover mask use requires 12-hour notice to the local sheriff.
