This bill requires the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to update its northern border threat analysis every three years, focusing on changes in apprehension numbers and demographics across different sectors. DHS must also update its overall northern border strategy every five years, incorporating the latest threat analysis, and provide classified briefings to Congress within 30 days of each analysis. Additionally, DHS must develop new performance measures for Air and Marine Operations between ports of entry in air and maritime environments. All of these actions must be completed without new federal funding, using existing resources to enhance border security.
