This bill expands Florida’s Swimming Lesson Voucher Program. Low-income families (up to 200% of the federal poverty level) can get free swimming lessons for children ages 1–7, raised from ages 1–4. Families must live in Florida and apply to the state. The change lets more kids learn to swim, aiming to prevent drownings, boost water safety, and ease costs for parents. Takes effect July 1, 2026.
