About the Organization

AAPI Youth Rising is a youth‑led national student collective (founded 2021) that organizes middle‑ and high‑school chapters to teach Asian American and Pacific Islander history, run classroom teach‑ins, and mobilize young people for civic engagement. Its signature ONE/180 pledge asks schools to dedicate one school day to AANHPI history; the group also campaigns against anti‑Asian hate and for inclusive curriculum and school safety.
