Adamah is a Maryland-based Jewish environmental nonprofit and the largest Jewish environmental organization in North America. Formed through the merger of Hazon and the Pearlstone Retreat Center, its mission is to cultivate vibrant Jewish life in deep connection with the earth by mobilizing the Jewish community around environmental education, immersive retreats, leadership development, and climate action.
Adamah advances policies and initiatives related to climate action, environmental sustainability, renewable energy adoption, decarbonization of Jewish institutions, Jewish environmental education, youth climate leadership, and faith-based community engagement in addressing climate change.
Primarily funded through charitable donations, foundation grants, program fees for retreats and educational programs, and other philanthropic contributions.
