Advocates for Community Health (ACH) is a nonpartisan, member-driven advocacy organization based in Washington, D.C., that represents leaders of federally qualified community health centers. Founded in 2021, ACH's mission is to advance the Health Center Program and shape federal policy, funding, workforce, and innovation to expand access and health equity for underserved communities. The organization is led by CEO Amanda Pears Kelly.
Advocacy on federal funding and appropriations for community health centers; protections for the 340B Drug Pricing Program; Medicaid access and reimbursement; workforce development and retention; value-based care and infrastructure investment; public health preparedness; and policies to advance health equity and innovation in primary care.
Primarily funded by membership dues and fees from member community health centers.
