About the Organization

The Ag Bioeconomy Coalition (ABC), founded in 2022, is a national coalition of leading U.S. agricultural and bioindustry trade associations that advocate for federal policies to foster growth in the agriculture bioeconomy. The coalition promotes the development and expansion of markets for biobased fuels, renewable chemicals, biobased materials, and consumer products derived from agricultural commodities, and serves as a platform for industry coordination and policy advocacy.

Policy Goals

Federal policies that expand and strengthen the U.S. agriculture bioeconomy, including Farm Bill bioeconomy initiatives, the USDA BioPreferred Program, the Biorefinery Renewable Chemical and Biobased Products Manufacturing Assistance Program, the Advanced Biofuel Payment Program, the Biomass Research and Development Initiative, tax policies supporting domestic biomanufacturing, rural broadband and infrastructure investment, research and development funding, and regulatory and labeling standards for biobased products.

Supported by member trade associations representing agricultural producers, biofuel producers, biotechnology companies, and biobased product manufacturers.
