The Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP) is a national non‑profit trade association that represents mission‑driven, community‑based health plans. ACHP provides policy analysis, research, advocacy, and convening services to advance affordable, high‑quality, integrated, value‑based care and to support member plans that serve Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial populations.
Advocacy for value‑based payment and delivery reform, Medicaid and Medicare policy affecting community plans, care coordination and primary care investment, behavioral health integration, health equity and social determinants of health, quality improvement and cost containment, and prescription drug affordability initiatives.
Primarily funded by membership dues and sponsorships from member health plans and industry partners, plus revenue from conferences/events and occasional grants or philanthropic support.
Member community‑based and nonprofit health plans, partnerships with state and national health plan organizations, health policy research groups, and provider networks.
