About the Organization

The Alzheimer’s Impact Movement (AIM) is the advocacy affiliate of the Alzheimer’s Association, focused on advancing policies to fight Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias through increased research funding, improved care, and better support for patients and caregivers.

Policy Goals

Federal and state Alzheimer’s policy, including research appropriations, public health infrastructure, caregiver support, care planning, access to treatment, early detection and diagnosis, and dementia-related legislation

Funding

Primarily donations and corporate contributions from supporters, including pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, and other corporate champions

Affiliates

Alzheimer’s Association; leadership includes Robert Egge, Joanne Pike, Rachel Conant, and other Alzheimer’s Association public policy leaders

Legal Structure

Not-for-profit 501(c)(4) advocacy organization
