Alzheimer’s Impact Movement (AIM) is the advocacy affiliate of the Alzheimer’s Association dedicated to advancing public policy to combat Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Its mission is to accelerate the development of effective treatments and prevention methods, improve care and support for those affected, and increase federal and state research funding through grassroots engagement and legislative advocacy.
Increased federal and state funding for Alzheimer’s and dementia research, improved access to quality dementia care and long-term services, support for family caregivers, early detection and diagnosis initiatives, data collection and public health infrastructure improvements, and policies to strengthen the dementia care workforce.
Primarily funded through contributions and grants associated with the Alzheimer’s Association, including individual donations and fundraising efforts.
