The American Association of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry is the advocacy and policy arm affiliated with the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, representing child and adolescent psychiatrists and promoting the mental health of children, adolescents, and families through health policy, advocacy, and member engagement.
Child and adolescent mental health, behavioral health workforce, access to psychiatric care, mental health parity, public health, research funding, education and training, and related health policy and regulatory issues.
Primarily supported by member dues and association-related advocacy activities; its affiliated PAC is funded separately and not by dues dollars.
