The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), AFL-CIO is a national labor union representing federal and District of Columbia government employees. Founded in 1932, AFGE advocates for the rights, job security, pay, benefits, and working conditions of federal workers and works to ensure an effective and accountable civil service.
