The American Foundry Society is a trade association and professional society serving the metalcasting industry, including foundries, suppliers, casting designers, and purchasers. Its mission is to advance the success of its members and the metalcasting industry through advocacy, education, and innovation.
Industry advocacy affecting U.S. manufacturing, metalcasting, workforce development, technical standards, research and innovation, environmental and safety issues, education and training, and policies that support a strong domestic industrial base and national defense.
Primarily funded by member dues, conference and training revenue, sponsorships, publications, and related industry services.
