The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is a U.S.-based pro-Israel advocacy organization that works to strengthen the U.S.–Israel relationship by educating and lobbying members of Congress, developing policy positions supportive of Israel's security, and mobilizing grassroots political support.
Promotes robust U.S. foreign aid and military cooperation with Israel, enhanced bilateral security and intelligence cooperation, measures to deter Iran and other regional threats, opposition to Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) measures, and legislation and congressional actions that support Israel's diplomatic and security interests.
Primarily funded by private donations and membership contributions, fundraising events and conferences, and contributions to affiliated political entities; educational activities are funded through a separate affiliated 501(c)(3).
