AMGA (American Medical Group Association) is a national trade association representing medical groups and integrated health systems. It serves as a network and advocacy organization for physician-led, coordinated, patient-centered care and provides members with policy advocacy, benchmarking, peer learning, and operational resources.
Healthcare delivery and payment policy, physician leadership, value-based care, population health, quality improvement, workforce and staffing, medical group operations, Medicare and other provider reimbursement, and policies affecting integrated health systems and multispecialty medical groups.
Primarily membership dues, corporate partnerships, events, consulting/services, and related organizational revenue; its affiliated foundation also accepts philanthropic support.
Member organizations include major health systems and medical groups such as Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Sutter Health, the Permanente Medical Group, Intermountain Healthcare, Duly Health and Care, Privia Medical Group, and Summit Medical Group. AMGA also operates the AMGA Foundation and AMGA Consulting.
