About the Organization

The American Pipeline Contractors Association (APCA) is a U.S.-based trade association representing companies that design, construct, repair and maintain liquid and gas pipeline infrastructure. The organization focuses on promoting safety and best practices in pipeline construction, workforce training and development, technical standards, and advocacy on regulatory and public policy matters affecting the pipeline contracting industry.

Policy Goals

Advocacy for pipeline safety standards and training, workforce development and apprenticeship programs, permitting and regulatory reform affecting pipeline construction, federal and state infrastructure funding and procurement policies, environmental compliance and construction best practices, and policies that support the competitiveness of pipeline contractors.

Funding

Member pipeline construction companies and state pipeline contractor associations; commonly collaborates with other industry organizations such as the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA).
