American Rivers Action Fund is the affiliated advocacy organization of American Rivers dedicated to building bipartisan political support for strong river and clean water policies. It focuses on advancing legislative, ballot, and public policy solutions to address pollution, water infrastructure needs, and climate-related impacts on rivers and drinking water supplies across the United States.
Clean water protection, river restoration, water infrastructure investment, dam safety and removal, floodplain restoration, state and local water funding measures, and federal and state legislation addressing water quality, watershed health, and climate resilience.
