The American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA) is a Washington, D.C.–based national trade association representing executives and companies involved in the financing, development, ownership, and operation of senior living communities, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and continuing care retirement communities. Founded in 1991, ASHA advances the senior housing industry through research, conferences, consumer education, and legislative and regulatory advocacy, with a mission of helping seniors live longer and better.
