The American Society of Hematology (ASH) is a leading professional medical society dedicated to advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of blood disorders through research, education, clinical practice guidance, and advocacy on behalf of patients and clinicians.
Advocacy for biomedical research funding and clinical trials, policies to improve patient access to treatments and affordable coverage/reimbursement, blood safety and donation policy, support for standards of care and clinical practice guidelines, workforce and medical education policy, and targeted initiatives for conditions such as sickle cell disease and hematologic malignancies.
Primarily supported by membership dues and fees (including annual meeting and educational program revenue), journal and publishing income, philanthropic grants and donations, and industry sponsorships and educational support.
