The American Soybean Association (ASA) is a national trade association representing U.S. soybean farmers. Its mission is to advocate for policies that enhance the profitability and global competitiveness of soybean producers, promote sustainable agricultural practices, and expand domestic and international markets for soy products.
ASA typically pursues federal farm policy, crop insurance, trade and export promotion, biofuels and renewable fuels standards, conservation programs, agricultural research funding, infrastructure improvements, and regulatory policies affecting agricultural production and commodity markets.
Primarily funded through membership dues from soybean farmers and state soybean associations, as well as industry partnerships and sponsorships.
