American Stewards of Liberty (ASL) is a Texas-based national nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening and restoring private property rights, defending the use of land and natural resources, and promoting limited government and local control. Formed in 2009 through the merger of the American Land Foundation and Stewards of the Range, ASL works to educate citizens and policymakers and to challenge federal land use and conservation initiatives it views as government overreach.
