ATA Action is the advocacy arm and affiliated trade association of the American Telemedicine Association focused on advancing policies that expand access to virtual care. It works with industry members, health systems, technology companies, and policymakers to make COVID-era telehealth flexibilities permanent, secure payment and reimbursement for virtual services, and remove regulatory barriers to digital health.
Federal and state telehealth policy and regulation, including Medicare and commercial reimbursement and payment parity, permanence of COVID-era telehealth flexibilities, interstate licensing and provider practice rules, remote prescribing and controlled-substance policy for telemedicine, integration/coverage of digital therapeutics and remote monitoring, broadband and access equity for telehealth, and regulatory modernization to support virtual care delivery.
Primarily funded by membership dues and fees from corporate and institutional members, sponsorships, event revenues, and contributions to its affiliated PAC.
