About the Organization

Americans for Democratic Action (ADA) is a long-running liberal advocacy and lobbying organization founded in 1947 to promote progressive public policy and democratic values. The Southern California Chapter is a local chapter of ADA that supports the organization’s national mission through grassroots activism and local engagement.

Civil rights and civil liberties, democracy and voting rights, economic justice, labor and worker protections, social justice, environmental policy, and progressive electoral advocacy
