The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is a national trade association for the construction industry, representing general contractors, specialty contractors, and related firms. Its mission is to advance the interests of the construction industry through advocacy, education, safety, workforce development, and member services.
Construction, infrastructure, transportation, workforce development, jobsite safety, labor and employment, environmental and permitting issues, tax and regulatory policy, and federal, state, and local public works funding.
Primarily membership dues and related association revenue, supplemented by advocacy and charitable foundation fundraising from member companies, chapters, and individuals.
