The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) is a U.S.-based nonprofit advocacy and support organization focused on frontotemporal degeneration (FTD). Its mission is to improve the quality of life of people affected by FTD and to drive research toward better diagnosis, treatment, and a cure.
Health and biomedical research funding, dementia awareness and education, caregiver and patient support services, access to diagnosis and care, and advocacy for research and appropriate affordable services.
