The Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES) is a national interdisciplinary professional membership organization dedicated to advancing diabetes care and education. It supports health professionals who help people with diabetes, prediabetes, and related cardiometabolic conditions improve self-management, access to care, and health outcomes.
Diabetes care and education, diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES), chronic disease prevention and management, health equity, workforce training, clinical practice standards, and coverage/access policies related to diabetes services and technology.
Primarily member dues, educational programs, conferences, publications, sponsorships, partnerships, and related service revenue.
Formerly the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE); associated with the ADCES Foundation; works closely with diabetes care and education specialists, clinicians, and organizations such as the American Diabetes Association in joint initiatives.
