The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) is a U.S.-based trade association representing manufacturers and suppliers of construction, agricultural, mining, forestry, utility and industrial equipment. AEM advocates for member business interests before policymakers, provides industry research and standards, supports workforce development and safety initiatives, and organizes major trade events to promote innovation and market access.
Advocacy for infrastructure investment and federal surface transportation funding, trade policy and export promotion, regulatory standards for emissions and equipment safety, tax and incentive policies affecting manufacturers, workforce development and apprenticeship programs, supply-chain resiliency and trade facilitation, and standards for automation and telematics technology.
Primarily funded by membership dues and fees from equipment manufacturers and suppliers, trade-show and event revenue, sponsorships, training and publications.
