The Association of Occupational and Environmental Clinics (AOEC) is a network of clinics and clinicians founded in 1987 to improve occupational and environmental medicine through information sharing, collaborative research, training, and patient-centered care for people with work-related injuries, illnesses, and environmental exposures.
Occupational health, environmental health, workplace safety, worker injury and illness prevention, environmental exposure response, clinical training and education, and related federal and state health and safety regulations.
Primarily member dues, donations, grants, and program contributions; AOEC also states it is a charitable nonprofit and accepts public donations.
Member clinics and clinicians nationwide; closely connected to occupational and environmental health agencies and referral networks, including unions, advocacy groups, NIOSH, ATSDR, OSHA, and EEOC through its clinic directory and outreach.
