Attorneys for Animals is a Michigan-based nonprofit organization of attorneys, law students, and animal advocates dedicated to protecting animals through the legal system. Founded in the early 1990s, the organization works to improve and enforce animal protection laws, assist with drafting legislation and local ordinances, provide referrals and resources for animal law cases, and fund initiatives that advance animal welfare.
