Aunt Rita's Foundation is a Phoenix-based nonprofit founded in 1988 that works to reduce stigma, prevent HIV, expand access to testing and treatment, and support people living with HIV across Arizona. The foundation runs statewide programs (HIVAZ Connect, GetTestedAZ), distributes free at‑home test kits and testing vouchers, provides grants to local HIV service providers, and organizes fundraising and awareness events such as AIDS Walk Arizona and the RED Is The Night gala.
Public health and HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment; expanded access to testing and clinical services; harm reduction and sexual health education; funding for community-based HIV service providers; anti-stigma and anti-discrimination efforts affecting people living with HIV and LGBTQ+ communities.
