About the Organization

The Automotive Body Parts Association (ABPA) is a national trade association representing manufacturers, distributors, and marketers of non-original equipment manufacturer (non-OEM) automotive collision replacement parts. Its mission is to promote competition in the automotive parts marketplace, support consumer choice, and advocate for high-quality, cost-effective alternatives to OEM parts.

Policy Goals

ABPA typically advocates for policies that promote competition in the automotive aftermarket industry, oppose design patent protections that restrict the sale of aftermarket crash parts, support consumer access to affordable replacement parts, and address insurance and repair regulations affecting collision repair and parts sourcing.
