Basic Rights Oregon is a statewide advocacy organization founded in 1996 that works to secure legal protections and advance equality for LGBTQ2SIA+ Oregonians through public education, grassroots organizing, lobbying, litigation support, and electoral work. The organization’s stated mission is to build a broad, inclusive, politically powerful movement to shift public opinion and achieve policy victories so LGBTQ2SIA+ people live free from discrimination.
