About the Organization

Caring Across Generations is a U.S.-based advocacy campaign and coalition that organizes family caregivers, paid care workers, seniors, people with disabilities, and allied organizations to transform long-term care, expand access to affordable home- and community-based services, and improve job quality in the care sector.

Policy Goals

Long-term services and supports (LTSS) reform, expansion and strengthening of home- and community-based services (HCBS), paid family and medical leave, caregiver workforce standards and protections (wages, benefits, training), immigrant caregiver protections, Medicaid policy reforms, and public investment in caregiving infrastructure.

Funding

Primarily philanthropic foundation grants and charitable donations, supplemented by partner organization support and small-donor contributions.

Affiliates

Works in coalition with national and local caregiver and elder-advocacy organizations, labor unions and worker groups (e.g., domestic worker and healthcare worker organizations), disability and civil-rights advocates, and grassroots caregiving networks.
