The Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) is a Washington, DC-based independent, nonpartisan think tank that conducts research and public education on economic, social, and global policy issues to promote informed democratic debate.

Economic policy, labor and employment, social policy, international economics, trade, inequality, and related public policy issues

Primarily supported by individual donors and foundation grants, with additional support from some labor and advocacy organizations

Co-founded by economists Dean Baker and Mark Weisbrot; advisory board has included Joseph E. Stiglitz, Robert Solow, Janet Gornick, and Richard B. Freeman
