The Center for LGBTQ Economic Advancement & Research (CLEAR) is a U.S.-based advocacy and research organization headquartered in San Francisco that conducts research, education, and policy advocacy to improve the economic well-being of LGBTQI+ people, families, businesses, nonprofits, and communities. CLEAR produces data and reports on LGBTQ financial outcomes, provides affirming financial education, and advocates for consumer protection, inclusive banking, and public policy reforms to close the LGBTQ wealth gap.
Consumer financial protection and regulation, credit reporting and name-change accuracy, access to banking and capital for LGBTQ-owned small businesses, anti-discrimination in financial services and insurance, data collection on sexual orientation and gender identity, financial literacy and community economic development policies
