Children's Defense Fund (CDF) is a national nonprofit child advocacy organization founded in 1973 that works to ensure every child in the United States has a healthy start, a quality education, and a fair chance in life. The organization advocates for policies and programs that protect children from poverty, abuse, neglect, and systemic inequities.
