Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) is a national organization that represents and advances the interests of children’s hospitals across the United States. Its mission is to improve child health by supporting member hospitals through advocacy, research, education, and collaboration, and by promoting policies that ensure access to high-quality pediatric care.
Children’s Hospital Association typically advocates for federal and state healthcare policies that strengthen Medicaid and CHIP, support pediatric workforce development, expand funding for children’s hospitals and graduate medical education, improve access to specialty pediatric services, advance child health research, and promote health equity for children.
