Climate Jobs WA (Climate Jobs Washington) is a labor‑led coalition of Washington state unions that organizes for a worker‑centered clean energy economy. The coalition advocates for policies that create good union jobs, workforce training and apprenticeship pathways, and equitable implementation of climate investments to protect workers, communities of color, and rural areas.
State climate and clean energy legislation, investments in renewable energy and infrastructure, workforce development and apprenticeship programs, prevailing wage and project labor agreements, just‑transition and job retention measures, community benefits and environmental justice provisions, and implementation of existing climate laws.
Primarily supported by participating labor unions and state labor councils and supplemented by grants and contributions to allied nonprofit organizations and campaign funds.
