Common Cause Florida is the Florida state chapter of Common Cause, a national nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening democracy and promoting accountable government. The organization works to ensure fair elections, combat corruption, expand voting rights, and increase transparency and ethics in state and local government.
Election integrity and voting rights, campaign finance reform, ethics and transparency in government, redistricting reform, and measures to reduce the influence of money in politics.
Primarily funded through individual donations, foundation grants, and support from the national Common Cause organization.
