The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations is a national coalition that coordinates policy positions among leading Jewish groups, represents the organized American Jewish community to U.S. and international policymakers and the media, and advocates on issues such as U.S.-Israel relations, combating antisemitism, and protection of Jewish communal interests.
U.S.-Israel relations and Middle East policy; combating antisemitism and hate crimes; religious freedom and civil rights; Jewish communal welfare, humanitarian and refugee issues; national security and diplomacy where it affects Jewish and Israeli interests.
Primarily funded by membership dues from constituent organizations, philanthropic donations and foundation grants, and fundraising activities.
Includes a wide range of major national Jewish organizations and denominational bodies such as the Anti-Defamation League, American Jewish Committee, National Council of Jewish Women, Jewish Federations of North America, and representative Reform, Conservative and Orthodox institutions.
