The Council of Producers & Distributors of Agrotechnology (CPDA) is a U.S.-based trade association founded in 1987 that represents manufacturers, formulators, distributors and retailers of adjuvants, inert ingredients, post-patent pesticides and other agrotechnology products. CPDA provides regulatory and legislative advocacy, industry standards and education for members and operates programs such as adjuvant certification and a political action committee to advance members' policy interests.
Federal and state pesticide and adjuvant regulation and registration, EPA rulemaking and implementation (including PRIA and endangered species-related label changes), recognition and oversight of inert ingredients and adjuvants, regulatory certainty and expedited reviews, product stewardship and labeling, and policies that affect agricultural input supply chains and market access.
Primarily funded by member dues and industry contributions, supplemented by sponsorships, event and certification fees and voluntary contributions to its political action committee (CPDA-PAC).
