Crude Accountability is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization founded in 2003 that works to protect environmental and human rights in regions impacted by oil, gas, and mineral extraction, particularly in the Caspian and Black Sea basins. The organization partners with local activists and citizen groups to promote transparency, hold corporations and governments accountable, and support communities affected by pollution, corruption, and resource exploitation.
