Dakota Rural Action is a South Dakota-based grassroots organization founded in 1987 that organizes rural residents to protect family farms and ranches, safeguard natural resources, and strengthen local communities. The organization focuses on community organizing, leadership development, and policy advocacy to promote resilient agriculture, clean energy, and environmental stewardship.
