Democrats Abroad — Veterans and Military Families (VMF) Caucus is an affinity caucus within Democrats Abroad, the official Democratic Party organization for U.S. citizens living outside the United States. The VMF Caucus advocates for the interests of U.S. military veterans, active-duty service members, and military families residing overseas, promoting policies that support their benefits, voting rights, and access to services.
The caucus typically supports legislation related to veterans’ health care, military benefits, disability compensation, voting access for overseas and military voters, education benefits such as the GI Bill, mental health services, and protections for military families living abroad.
