Ducks Unlimited is a North American conservation organization founded in 1937 that works to conserve, restore and manage wetlands and associated habitats for waterfowl, other wildlife and people through science-based programs and partnerships with landowners, governments and the private sector.
Advocates for wetland and waterfowl habitat conservation and restoration, incentive-based private-land conservation programs, wildlife and fishery management, water resource and watershed protections, funding for conservation and public-private partnerships, and policies that support sustainable hunting, outdoor recreation and climate resilience of wetlands.
Primarily funded by membership dues and individual donations, supplemented by corporate sponsorships, grants, fundraising events and government cost-share programs.
