The Environmental Law & Policy Center (ELPC) is a Midwestern public-interest environmental organization that uses legal action, policy advocacy, research, and coalition-building to advance clean energy, protect the Great Lakes and freshwater resources, improve air quality, and promote sustainable transportation and smart growth.
Clean energy and renewable energy policy; energy efficiency and utility/regulatory reform; electrification and clean transportation (including EV infrastructure); air and water quality protections, including Great Lakes conservation; environmental litigation and regulatory enforcement; sustainable development and smart growth.
Primarily funded by philanthropic foundation grants, individual donors and members, and program/project grants.
