The Environmental Working Group (EWG) is a nonprofit environmental research and advocacy organization dedicated to protecting human health and the environment. It conducts research and public education on issues such as toxic chemicals, agricultural practices, drinking water safety, and consumer product transparency, and promotes policies it believes will reduce environmental and health risks.
