About the Organization

The Executive Office of the President (EOP) is the collection of offices and staff that support the President in carrying out constitutional and statutory duties, develop and coordinate administration policy, prepare the federal budget, oversee regulatory and management functions, and communicate the administration's positions to Congress, stakeholders, and the public. The EOP issues Statements of Administration Policy to state the administration's official stance on pending legislation.

Designs and advances presidential priorities across domestic policy, economic and fiscal policy, regulatory and administrative management, national security and foreign policy, and legislative strategy and outreach to Congress

Funded through annual federal appropriations in the U.S. Treasury (taxpayer dollars) enacted by Congress
